
Maisha Seraj
Maisha is a marriage and family therapist dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges. She specializes in working with young people experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, and LGBTQ-related issues. She is committed to creating a warm, accepting, and safe space where clients feel empowered to be open, honest, and fully themselves. She incorporates humor into sessions when appropriate to help ease discomfort and build connection.
Maisha earned her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut. Her therapeutic approach integrates Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Play Therapy, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of her work, Maisha enjoys spending quality time with her little one and two cats, as well as hiking and exploring the outdoors. She also enjoys playing the guitar and ukulele, as well as DJing.
