Developing a genuine relationship with trust, safety, and support is what I offer to you. Determining the direction of support/therapy can be a collaboration between us and guided through evidence-based treatments. I also offer space for religious exploration and connection. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, teens, families, prior military, and first responders.
Therapy does not always have to be delivered while sitting or solely through words. I can incorporate movement, play, and activities into sessions. Seeing the person as part of a system, working to process experiences, managing anxieties, dealing with intrusive thoughts, and discovering coping skills are areas I enjoy working on. I have experience supporting individuals during moments of crisis. Self-harm, suicide, and difficulty expressing can make connecting with a therapist scary/hard. This is why I work toward harm reduction as most of us are doing something unhealthy at any given moment. Connect with me through therapy and we can work to make your next experience.
