Beth Vervaert
I earned my master’s in clinical social work from the University of Connecticut and am a licensed clinical social worker by the state of Connecticut. I earned my undergraduate degree at Central Connecticut State University. I have received additional supervised training as a licensed clinical social worker. My theoretical orientation combines a humanistic, trauma informed, relational, solution focused approach that is augmented by systematic thinking and interventions. I have had extensive training and experience working with and evaluating children, adolescents, families and adults. My specializations include OCD, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, certified in EMDR and TFCBT, and attachment issues. I have been able to provide clinical supervision for the last 5 years, am current on the requirements for providing supervision, and meet the criteria to provide supervision as established by the National Association Board of Social Work.
